Summer 2016

Managing your trees and natural resources such as water, wildlife cover and tree/ plant species can be a daunting task to just about anyone.  Even some of my own projects get put on hold because work becomes a priority.  In many cases a professional can get our jobs done faster and better and is well worth the money, to have more free time to spend with the family and away from work.  Professionals also have a wealth of knowledge to make the right decisions that you are also not aware of.  As our weather patterns shift we have seen faster winds, sometimes more intense rain in shorter bursts and a cyclical rise in plant insects and diseases.  I will be taking a trip to Canada in the beginning of July to observe and better understand the widespread infestation of the Spruce Budworm.  There are things myself and my clients have been doing for years to prepare for the latest Spruce budworm infestation here in Maine.
If you own property from 1 to 100,000 acres from northern Maine to the coast of Bar Harbor don’t hesitate to call and see what we can do for you.  From improving your view to caring for your shade trees around your home and improving the future of your woodlot we can make your front yard or back forty weather better during storms and natural disasters.
Check us out at our new location in Hampden.  We are still serving 70 plus miles from the greater Bangor and Bar Harbor area.  FOR ALL YOUR TREE SERVICE, FOREST MANAGEMENT AND FIREWOOD NEEDS CALL TYLER AT 479-3129.

Storm Damage

The first wet and messy snow storm has hit Maine and has left a lot of us with a mess to clean up. Trees are essential to our homes for cooling in the summer and landscaping aesthetics year round. Some tree species fit in well close to a house and some tree species can be very hazardous next to homes. Trees can also benefit from pruning or cabling to increase their structural integrity and health over time.  Thinning trees and favoring specific trees while they are young will set the stage for the trees around your home for the next 100 or more years.  We work with naturally regenerated trees to save the overall cost of potentially planting.

Tree services can get expensive at times, and challenging for those that live with a very tight budget. Tree trucks, chippers, equipment and labor add up to more than a small hourly operating cost. We strive to be hard working and efficient on all of our jobs to keep the cost as low as possible for our clients. We also work with your needs to custom fit our services.

So as you start to add up the cost of our services and begin to weigh your options, consider, HOW MUCH YOU ARE ACTUALLY SAVING BY HAVING THE WORK DONE BEFORE MOTHER NATURE DOES IT FOR YOU AND CAUSES SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE?
